The material for this project is collected from above the earth, over the highlands of Iceland in the form of photographs. These photographs are brought one step further than usual to a dimension that all the time was hidden, but all the time was right before our ​

An original image is mirrored vertically, these two images are then mirrored horizontally and combined to a single image. This rearrangement can only be done in four ways if balance and symmetry are to be maintained in the final image. A Quadriptych work of art thus emerges from the single image. 

The focus is to explore what will emerge from the center of the new image. The structure and forms are a unique creation, impossible to imagine from the original image. 

It could be said that if the original photograph is its own reality, then this hidden dimension would be at the edge of that reality.
